The magnet is recessed into the door and the reed switch is placed in a rebate in the carcass.

Works across gaps up to 30mm on hinged, sliding or bi-fold doors.

Includes magnet and reed switch with a 2 metre cable and plug.
When installed ensure there are no other magnetic sources within 150mm of the reed switch.

Input power can be connected either by
plugging in directly from a DC Power Adapter such as LD1610 or LD1611
OR
hardwire directly from a 12V or 24V LED Driver such as LD1605 to the screw terminals marked INPUT.

For use in conjunction with P/N LD1400 reed switches.
Connects up to four reed switches to control a single LED fixture. Open any door light on, close all doors light off.
Additional reed switches can be added by using the 6 port extension card LD1420
All inputs are connected in series. Break the series loop and the controller switches on. Reed switch contacts are closed with a magnet present.
